Frequently Asked Questions

A: We send out orders for our packages twice a week. This means that you will normally receive your package within 2-3 working days. Please note that the launch date is on the 30th of August 2024, and that all orders placed before this date are pre-orders, as is currently stated on the website. Any pre-orders will first be sent out on the launch date. Our delivery partner is Postnord and we recommend contacting them for any questions about delivery.

A: The production of our flakes takes place locally in southwest Sweden. We start by carefully mixing dry and wet ingredients into a batch. This mixture is then spread out on a baking mat and baked in the oven at 175°C for about 50 minutes. By producing in this way, we ensure high quality and crispiness in every package.

A: The sweetness in our cereals comes partly from the naturally occurring sugars in maple syrup and other ingredients such as soy beverage, but mainly from our natural sweetener, erythritol. Erythritol is produced through a fermentation process in which glucose is converted by yeast or other microorganisms. We choose to use erythritol because it is a natural sweetener that has no impact on blood sugar and has fewer calories than regular sugar. This makes our cereal a healthier option without compromising on taste.

A: Our cereals are different from many others on the market in several ways. Firstly, they are very high in protein - in fact, about three times as much as the industry standard, but without being three times more expensive. This makes them an excellent choice for anyone looking to increase their protein intake without breaking the bank. What's more, our cereals are both vegan and gluten-free, making them accessible and enjoyable to a wide audience, including those with specific dietary needs. We also have plans to expand our range with more products in the future. Another unique aspect of our business is that we, the owners, make the cereals ourselves. This is quite unusual in the cereal industry and something we are very proud of. We believe this not only provides a higher standard of quality but also a personal touch that customers appreciate.

A: As far as nut allergies are concerned, we are actively working to develop an appealing product without nuts or traces of nuts. However, all of our products currently contain traces of nuts, albeit minimal amounts. If you are very sensitive to nuts, we advise against consuming LOW-KI Cereal Pops. On the other hand, none of our ingredients contain gluten. Thus, the cereals contain less than 20mg gluten/kg, which means that they are classified as gluten-free and can be enjoyed by people with gluten allergies. In addition, Cocoa Cabana contains rice flour, which is even recommended for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance and is widely used in gluten-free recipes as a safe alternative.

A: From the list of ingredients, you can see that there are no traditional preservatives in our cereals. However, some ingredients, such as salt and sugar, can help extend the shelf life slightly by reducing the water activity of the product. It is also important to remember that the packaging, storage conditions and manufacturing process play a very important role in the shelf life of products. To ensure that LOW-KI cereals are safe to eat for a longer period of time, we recommend following the expiry date on the packaging and storing the product in a cool and dry place, which we also label on the packaging.

A: Our ingredients are sourced from different parts of the world to ensure the highest quality. For example, our maple syrup is straight from Canada, which is known for its premium maple syrup. Our dates are from Algeria, which is famous for its sweet and juicy dates. The protein in our flakes is from China, where there is a long tradition of soy production. We carefully select our suppliers and strive to use the best ingredients to give you a healthy and tasty breakfast or meal experience - for example, only non-GMO soy in our product.

A: Yes, absolutely! Our cereals are very versatile and can be used in a variety of ways in addition to a traditional bowl of milk. They taste great when mixed with oat milk, almond milk, or any other type of milk. In addition, they can be a lovely addition to yogurt for a crunchy texture. They can also be used as a topping on smoothie bowls for extra protein and crunch. We've even seen customers using them in their baked goods for a unique twist. We love seeing all the creative ways our customers use our products, so don't hesitate to share your recipes on social media!
